When Umesh took over Al Farid Metal Works in 2014, it was a small-scale business with limited structure and informal ways of working. Building it further meant making timely decisions, bringing people into key positions, and learning through everyday challenges. Those early choices helped shape the team and laid the foundation for the company it is today.

That experience continues to guide his approach to leadership. Umesh believes in recognising potential, trusting people with responsibility, and giving them the support and confidence to grow. He values practical decisions, honest communication, and the willingness to learn and improve along the way.

His vision for Al Farid is to build a well-organised company that stays close to its people and its clients. For him, lasting progress means delivering quality, keeping commitments, and creating opportunities for the team to move forward together.
